POTATO CASSEROLE | |
1 stick butter 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 carton (1 lb.) sour cream 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 10 oz. grated American cheese 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 lg. pkg. (2 lb.) hash browns, thaw or partly thaw 2 c. crushed corn flakes 1/4 c. butter Place potatoes and onion in buttered baking pan or divide into 2 pans. Mix sauce and pour over potatoes. Mix crushed corn flakes with butter. Sprinkle on the buttered corn flakes. Bake 15 minutes, covered; then 30 to 40 minutes uncovered, at 350 degree temperature. |
