BEANS AND RICE 
2 c. dry pinto beans
15 oz. can tomato sauce
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. bell pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. basil
Crushed red pepper to taste
Salt to taste
2-3 slices bacon

Place washed pinto beans in crock pot. Add tomato sauce, then add enough water to fill to almost top of crock pot. Add onion, bell pepper, garlic powder, basil, red pepper, salt and bacon slices and mix well. Set crock pot on high and cook 4 to 5 hours or until beans are tender. Serve over rice.
