4-LAYER DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1/2 c. soft butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. Cool Whip
3 pkgs. instant pudding mix (any flavor)
5 c. cold milk
1 tsp. vanilla (if using lemon pudding add 1 tsp. lemon juice instead of vanilla)
Cool Whip

First layer: Mix first 3 ingredients thoroughly. Pat into 9x13 pan (covering bottom evenly. Bake at 350 degrees for 14 minutes. Then chill crust.

Second layer: Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar and Cool Whip until smooth. Spread over first layer; chill.

Third layer: Mix pudding mix, cold milk and vanilla; beat until thick. Pour over second layer.

Fourth layer: Top all with Cool Whip. Sprinkle with chopped nuts; chill well.
