HOT BEEF DIP 
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. milk
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 (3 oz.) pkg. smoked sliced beef, chopped
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. chopped parsley

Saute onions in butter. Add milk and cream cheese, stir over low heat until cream cheese is melted. Add remaining ingredients, heat well, stirring occasionally. Serve hot with French bread slices.
