CARAMEL ICING 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. sweet milk
3 c. powdered sugar

Melt butter, add brown sugar. Dissolve and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Cool slightly, then add milk and beat until smooth. Add powdered sugar until thickness desired. Nuts may be added, if desired. Frosts a 2-layer cake.
