TURMERIC RICE 
1/2 c. sliced green onions
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. rice
3 c. water
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 1/2 tsp. instant bouillon granules
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. turmeric
1/2 c. light colored raisins

Cook onion in butter until clear (not browned). Add rice and saute until golden. Add remaining ingredients except raisins. Reduce heat and simmer approximately 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add raisins. Cover and let stand 10 minutes.
