BASE: 1/3 c. butter flavored Crisco 1/2 c. peanut butter 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 eggs 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. milk 1 tsp. vanilla FROSTING: 1/4 c. butter flavored Crisco 2/3 c. peanut butter 4 c. confectioners' sugar 1/2 c. milk 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces Cream Crisco and peanut butter with electric mixer. Blend in brown sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time until creamy. Combine flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Combine milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and milk alternately to creamed mixture. Mix at low speed of mixer until blended. Spread batter into greased 15"x10"x1" pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 18 to 20 minutes. Cool. Cream Crisco and peanut butter at medium speed of mixer. Add sugar and milk. Beat until fluffy. Spread on cooled cookies. Drizzle melted chocolate pieces from end of spoon over frosting. |
