CHICKEN SCALLOP | |
2 cans Swanson's chicken 2 cans chicken broth 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. butter, melted 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 c. crushed crackers 2 c. sliced, cooked potatoes 2 c. cooked noodles Make a paste with melted butter, flour, salt and pepper. Slowly add chicken broth, until thickens. In a greased casserole dish, play a layer of half of the cracker crumbs, then a (can) layer of the chicken, a layer of potatoes, then a layer of crackers, chicken and noodles. Pour sauce over all and bake, uncovered, in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 20 minutes, until browned and bubbly. Serves 4 to 6. |
