2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 lb. can sliced beets, drained

Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan. Stir in pineapple. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles. Add butter, lemon juice and beets. Heat thoroughly. Yield 4 servings.
