BAKED CARROTS 
1 lb. carrots, sliced
2 tbsp. dried parsley flakes
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. onion, sliced thin
1/4 tsp. salt

Place alternate layers of carrots, onions, and seasonings in a buttered casserole. Dot with butter. Pour 1/2 cup boiling water over all. Cover and bake at 375 degrees until tender.
