PARMESAN - GARLIC BREAD 
1 lg. loaf French bread
1/4 lb. butter, softened
1/2 tsp. garlic salt or 1 or 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
3 or 4 tbsp. Parmesan cheese, grated
Paprika
Fresh parsley, chopped or parsley flakes

Slice French bread in half lengthwise. Mix butter and garlic salt; spread on bread. Sprinkle generously with cheese, then with paprika. Top with parsley. Place under broiler until butter is melted and bread is lightly browned. Slice and serve hot. Yield: 6 to 8 servings.
