OLD FASHION CHICKEN DUMPLINGS 
1 chicken fryer or stewing hen
2 chicken bouillon cubes in fryer
1/2 c. shortening
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

Cut chicken and boil until tender. Mix flour, shortening and add some broth with water. Mix together. Roll out. Cut in small squares. Add to chicken broth. Cook until tender.
