1 (20 oz.) pkg. Oreo cookies
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 c. confectioners' sugar
1 (8 oz.) container cool Whip
2 sm. pkgs. French vanilla pudding (instant)
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Crush Oreo cookies and put half of crumbs in 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth. Mix in confectioners' sugar. Fold in Cool Whip.

In separate bowl, mix together pudding, milk and vanilla. Fold cream cheese mixture into pudding mixture. Pour in pan on top of crumbs. Then top mixture with remaining crumbs. Refrigerate to set.

NOTE: This is an old recipe that can be used many ways and with many variations. It can also be layered and served in a clean new flower pot and used as a table centerpiece. Be creative and have fun entertaining with this dessert.
