LIME GELATIN CAKE | |
1 box white cake mix 1 box (3 oz.) lime gelatin 4 tsp. mint (I use lemon) flavoring 1/3 c. salad oil 4 eggs, separated 1 c. powdered sugar 1/4 c. milk Combine cake mix, gelatin, flavoring and salad oil with 1 cup water; add egg yolks. Beat well. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form; fold into batter. Pour into greased and floured tube pan. Bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees. Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze to pour over hot cake. |
