CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
6 slices American cheese
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. catsup
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 can buttermilk biscuits

Brown beef with onion and green pepper; drain. Add tomato sauce, catsup and pepper. Heat through. In ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, alternate layers of meat mixture and cheese slices. Arrange biscuits on top. Bake 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees.
