CHEESEBURGER CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. catsup
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 lb. American cheese slices
1 can of buttermilk biscuits

Brown beef with onion and green pepper in skillet. Drain off fat and add tomato sauce, catsup and pepper. Heat. Alternate meat mixture and cheese slices in ungreased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Arrange biscuits around edge of casserole. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
