JUDY'S LEMON SLICE BARS | |
CRUST: 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup (2 sticks) butter Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine sugar and flour. Cut butter into mixture until fine crumbs. Pat into 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes. FILLING: 4 eggs 2 cups sugar 4 tbsp. lemon juice 4 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1 grated lemon rind Beat together filling ingredients and pour over baked crust. Return to oven and bake for 20 minutes more. Remove from oven and sprinkle with confectioners' sugar. Cut into bars while warm. Submitted by: Judy Fisher |
