DOUBLE CHOCOLATE OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
3 c. quick-cooking oatmeal
1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Mix sugar, butter, water, egg and vanilla in large bowl of mixer. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven until almost no indentation remains when touched, bake 10-12 minutes. Remove immediately from cookie sheets. About 5 1/2 dozen.
