WILD RICE SOUP | |
1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped onion 8 oz. sliced mushrooms 1 c. wild rice 1 can cream of chicken soup (10 3/4 oz.) 1 can cream of potato soup (10 3/4 oz.) 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk Diced ham 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese 1 c. milk Simmer celery, onion and mushrooms in 1/2 cup water and 2 tablespoons butter until tender. Cook wild rice (boil). In large kettle mix celery mixture, rice and all other ingredients. Simmer for 2 hours. May add more milk if too thick. |
