STREUSEL FILLED COFFEE CAKE | |
3/4 c. sugar 1 egg 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/4 c. shortening 1/2 c. milk 2 tsp. baking powder Combine sugar and shortening. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Pour 1/2 batter into greased 8 inch or 9 inch pan. TOPPING: 1/2 c. brown sugar 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. soft butter 1/4 c. nuts Combine topping ingredients. Sprinkle half on batter. Add remaining batter, then rest of topping. Bake at 375 degrees for 25-30 minutes. |
