OLD SOUTH PECAN PIE | |
3 eggs 3/4 c. white sugar 1 c. dark corn syrup (Karo) 1 tsp. vanilla 1/4 c. melted butter 1 1/4 c. broken pecans (not too fine) Beat eggs, add sugar, mix well. Stir in syrup, vanilla and butter. Sprinkle pecans in unbaked pie shell. Pour mixture over pecans. Bake at 375 degrees 40 to 45 minutes. Outer edge will be crusty - center will thicken when cool. |
