IDA MAE'S SMOTHERED CHICKEN 
2 1/2 or 3 lb. chicken, cut up
Juice of 1 lemon
2 tbsp. butter
Salt and pepper

Place chicken in Pyrex dish skin side up. Pour over lemon juice, dot with butter. Cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees until tender. Dissolve 2 teaspoons flour in little water and pour in the droppings for the gravy. Cook a few minutes longer.
