JIFFY SPANISH RICE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (1 lb. 12 oz.) tomatoes
2 tbsp. chili powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 c. Minute Rice
1 tbsp. instant minced onion
2 tsp. salt

Crumble beef into 3 quart casserole. Add remaining ingredients and mix well, cutting tomatoes to distribute evenly. Cover. Place in microwave and cook 12 to 14 minutes, stirring after 6 minutes. If top of food appears dry during cooking, stir again, then return to oven to finish cooking.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
