BROILED TOMATOES 
2 ripe med. tomatoes
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
3/4 tsp. prepared mustard
1/4 tsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1 tsp. butter
2 tbsp. plain dry bread crumbs

Preheat broiler. Core tomatoes. Cut in half lengthwise. Place on a baking sheet, cut side up. In a cup, combine Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and sugar. Mix well. Spread over tomatoes. Melt butter in small saucepan. Add bread crumbs. Stir to coat evenly. Sprinkle crumbs on tomatoes. Broil about 5 minutes. Yields 4 servings.
