1 lb. ground beef 1 c. instant rice 2 c. cooked tomatoes (1 tall can) 2 c. uncooked noodles 3 lg. onions, sliced 1 tsp. chili powder 1 lg. green pepper, chopped 2 tsp. salt and a little pepper Stir ground beef in 3 tablespoons hot fat, until it falls apart, mix onions, green peppers and tomatoes, cook a little longer and add the rice, chili powder, salt and pepper. Pour into greased 2 quart casserole, cover and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove cover, spread cheese over top, and bake 15 minutes longer. |
