SALTED PEANUT CHEWS 
BASE INGREDIENTS:

1 pkg. Pillsbury Plus Yellow Cake Mix
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 egg
3 c. miniature marshmallows

TOPPING:

2/3 c. light corn syrup
1/4 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. pkg. peanut butter chips (you can also use butterscotch)
2 c. crisp Rice Krispies
2 c. blanched salted peanuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl combine all base ingredients except marshmallows until crumbly. Press in bottom of 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-18 minutes or until lightly golden brown. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle with marshmallows. Return to oven for 1 or 2 minutes or until marshmallows just begin to puff; cool while preparing topping.

In large saucepan heat corn syrup, butter, vanilla and chips until chips are melted and mixture is smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; stir in cereal and nuts. Immediately spoon warm topping over marshmallows. Spread to cover. Chill, then cut into bars.
