ORANGE-PINEAPPLE CHEESE SALAD 
1 can (#2) crushed pineapple, with juice
1/2 c. sugar
2 c. cold water
1 lg. box (6 oz.) orange gelatin
1 1/2 c. grated mild Cheddar cheese
1 c. chopped nuts
1 lg. container whipped topping

Combine pineapple and sugar in saucepan and bring to a boil. Add gelatin, stirring until dissolved. Add water and chill until mixture starts to thicken. Fold in cheese, nuts and whipped topping. Refrigerate in lightly covered container until firm.
