BREAKFAST STRATA 
12 slices bread, remove crust, butter and quarter
1 minced onion
8 eggs
1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar
4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. parsley
1 lb. ham chunks (shrimp, tuna, etc.)

Butter 9 x 13 inch pan. Place 6 slices of bread in pan and sprinkle cheese on top. Add remaining bread. Saute onion and parsley in butter until soft. Whisk eggs and milk, add onion, mustard and Worcestershire sauce and seasoning. Sprinkle meat over bread. Pour egg mixture over all. Chill at least an hour or more. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
