6 tbsp. cornstarch
3 tbsp. cocoa or 1 1/2 squares unsweetened chocolate
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. milk
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix first 4 ingredients. Add milk. Cook slowly, stirring all the time until thick. Beat eggs and add to mixture and boil up good, stirring all the time. Remove and add vanilla. Eat warm.
