PORK CHOPS ITALIANO 
6 rib or loin pork chops, 3/4 to 1 inch thick
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. uncooked Uncle Bean's rice
1 c. tomato sauce (8 oz.)
1 1/2 c. water
1/2 c. shredded Colby Cheddar cheese
1 med. green pepper, cut in strips
Italian seasoning

Brown pork chops and arrange in 9 x 13 inch pan. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle rice around chops. Pour tomato sauce, water, salt, and Italian seasoning over chops and rice. Cover tightly and bake for 1-1 1/4 hours, depending on thickness of chops, at 350 degrees. 10 minutes before done, sprinkle with cheese and arrange green pepper strips. Serves 6.
