SQUASH CASSEROLE 
2 c. cooked yellow summer squash
1 med. onion grated
1 c. milk
1 egg
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 to 3/4 cup grated sharp cheese or 2 tbsp. butter
1 c. bread crumbs or cracker crumbs

Beat egg and milk. Add to squash onion, salt and pepper. Pour half into buttered casserole dish (1 1/2 quart size).

Top with half of bread crumbs or cracker crumbs and half of the cheese. Repeat.

Bake at 350 degrees until brown. (about 10 minutes)
