BEEF & MACARONI HOTDISH 
1 lb. ground beef
1 c. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. uncooked macaroni
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. minced onion

Cook hamburger in microwave about 6 minutes on high until no longer pink. Drain off. Mash up big chunks. Add salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. Put in 2 quart casserole and add sauce, macaroni and water.

Cover and cook for 12 minutes on high. Stir every 4 minutes. Let stand about 5 minutes before serving. This is when I add slices of Velveeta and let it melt on top.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
