CRACKLING BISCUITS 
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. cracklings, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. milk

Sift flour once; measure. Add baking powder and salt. Sift again. Add cracklings, cut in shortening. Add milk gradually until soft dough is formed. Roll out on slightly floured board. Cut out and bake in hot 450 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
