PINEAPPLE DELIGHT | |
3/4 c. evaporated milk 1 pkg. gelatin (any fruit flavor) 1/2 c. boiling water 1/2 c. cold water 8 marshmallows 1 (9 oz.) can crushed pineapple 1/2 c. broken nuts Whipped cream Chill 3/4 cup evaporated milk in ice tray until almost frozen around edges. In a 2-quart bowl, dissolve 1 package gelatin in 1/2 cup boiling water. Stir in 1/2 cup cold water. Add to gelatin 8 marshmallows finely cut, 9 oz. can pineapple, and 1/2 cup nuts. Let stand at room temperature until needed. Whip evaporated milk in cold quart bowl until stiff. Fold into gelatin mixture. Cover and chill. Top with whip cream, if desired, before serving. |
