LENTILS WITH BARLEY 
1/2 med. chopped onion
1 garlic clove, crushed
1/2 c. chopped celery
Butter
3 tomatoes, peeled & chopped
2 c. chicken broth or water
1/2 c. dried lentils
1/2 c. barley
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. rosemary

In a heavy saucepan saute the onion and garlic in a little butter until onion is transparent. Add the celery and cook, stirring, 3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 to 45 minutes or until lentils and barley are tender. Serves 4.
