LAURA'S CHICKEN STROGANOFF 
2 tbsp. butter
2 to 3 c. raw cubed chicken
1/2 c. onion
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 oz. can mushrooms
1 c. plain yogurt OR sour cream OR combination

Melt butter in Dutch oven. Saute chicken pieces in butter; add onion and saute until clear. Add mushrooms and their liquid and spices. Cover and simmer 20 minutes. Add yogurt or sour cream just before serving to warm it through. Serve over noodles. Serves 4 to 5.
