PEACHY BARS 
1 c. (heaping) canned peaches (cut up and drained)
2 c. raisins
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1/4 tsp. almond extract
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter
2 c. flour
1/3 c. evaporated milk
1/3 c. nuts

Combine first 6 ingredients in saucepan and cook over low heat, stir gently until thick. Cool. Stir in 1 teaspoon almond extract.

Combine in bowl the brown sugar, baking powder, salt, butter and flour and blend with pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in evaporated milk and nuts.

Press 3/4 of the above mixture in a 9x13 greased pan for crust. Spread peachy mixture over crust. Top with remaining crumbs. Bake 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
