1 c. cocoa
4 c. sugar
3 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla

Bring all ingredients, except vanilla to a boil. Simmer for 30 minutes. Add vanilla and cool. Keep in refrigerator. Serve warm over ice cream.

Yields 1 quart.
