MOCHA CAKE 
Cocoa
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
1 1/3 c. water
2/3 c. butter, soft
3 eggs
2 tsp. instant coffee
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. double-acting baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two 9-inch round pans, coat with cocoa.

In large bowl, measure 2/3 cup cocoa and remaining ingredients. At low speed, beat until mixed. At high, beat 4 minutes.

Pour into pans. Bake 30 minutes, cool on wire racks 10 minutes, remove from pans.

Prepare frosting: 1/2 c. butter 1/4 c. cocoa 1/4 c. water 1 tsp. instant coffee 1 tsp. vanilla extract 1/8 tsp. salt

Beat 3 minutes.
