FRENCH CHOCOLATE MOUSSE 
6 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
4 eggs, separated
1 tsp. vanilla or 1 tbsp. orange flavored liquor

Melt chocolate on low heat, stirring often. Beat egg yolks until pale and lemon colored. Slowly stir in the chocolate until blended.

Beat egg whites until stiff. Add 1/3 whites to yolk mix. Add vanilla or liquor, then fold carefully the remaining egg whites.

Spoon into individual dishes or one serving bowl. Cover with plastic and chill 8 hours. Garnish with whipped cream and shaved chocolate (semi-sweet).
