FRENCH SILK CHOCOLATE PIE 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
1 sq. unsweetened chocolate melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 (8 or 9 inch) cracker crust or pie

Cream butter and sugar, blend in chocolate. Add vanilla. Add eggs one at a time, beating for 4 to 5 minutes after each addition. Pour into pie shell. Chill thoroughly. If desired, pie may be topped with whipped cream sprinkled with shaved chocolate or walnuts.
