FRIED CORN 
1 c. bacon grease
1 stick butter
6 to 8 ears fresh corn, cut off cob & scrape to obtain milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. flour (plain or self-rising)
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. water

Heat bacon grease and butter in large skillet. Add corn. Cover with lid, cook over medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes until corn is tender. Remove lid. Stir in salt, pepper, flour and sugar. Cook, stirring frequently until corn begins to stick to pan. Add water, stir well and serve. Enjoy!
