SPICED FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 (17 oz.) can unpeeled apricot halves
1 (8 1/4 oz.) can pineapple chunks, drained
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. halved strawberries

In 1 quart casserole combine undrained apricots, pineapple, brown sugar, and nutmeg. Dot with butter. Bake, uncovered, in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until heated through. Before serving, stir in berries. Serve warm. Makes 6 servings.
