ORANGE ICING 
4 med. oranges
3 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
10X sugar

Grate peel of 2 oranges, set aside. Peel, remove seeds and dice oranges. Blend until smooth. Should have 3 cups oranges.

Mix juice, peel, sugar and salt. Bring to boil, stir often. Spoon hot juice over middle and bottom cake layers. Cook remaining mixture until thickened, similar to applesauce. Add butter. Stir until melted. Remove from heat. Cool to warm. Add 10X sugar until spreading consistency. Ice top and sides of cake.
