BEEF ITALIAN 
1 1/2 lb. round steak
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
1/3 c. fine bread crumbs
Cooking oil
Dash of pepper, oregano, basil and garlic
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 c. hot water
1/2 lb. grated cheese

Pound steak very thin, cut into 6 pieces. Mix crumbs, herbs and Parmesan cheese. Dip steak in egg then in crumb mixture. Brown steak over medium fire. Place in shallow pan. Cook onion until soft. Mix onion with paste, water and sugar. Pour over meat and top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
