SAUSAGE BEAN SUPPER | |
2 c. lg. dry limas 1 1/2 qt. water 2 lb. sausage 1 c. chopped onion 1 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped green pepper 1 tbsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce Combine beans and water. Bring to boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat and let stand 1 hour. Cook sausage, onion, celery, and pepper; drain fat. Combine beans, sausage mixture, salt, pepper and tomatoes. Put in 3-quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until beans are tender. |
