MOIST POUND CAKE 
1 c. Crisco shortening
2 sticks whipped butter
2 3/4 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
5 eggs
3 c. Swan Down cake flour
1 c. milk

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Add Crisco, butter, sugar and vanilla together; cream well. Add 1 egg at a time, beating after each one. Add flour and milk alternately (begin with flour and end with flour). Bake in a greased and floured tube cake pan at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Cool 10 minutes before dumping from pan.
