JOANNE'S RHUBARB CAKE 
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. rhubarb, sliced fine
1/2 c. white sugar
1 egg
2 c. flour sifted with
1 tsp. baking soda

Mix in order given, one at a time. Pour into greased 8 x 11 inch pan. Sprinkle top with 1/2 cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees.
