CHEESECAKE COOKIES 
TOPPING:

5 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

FILLING:

1/2 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 egg
2 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and brown sugar, add flour and nuts. Mix together. Remove 1 cup and set aside. Press remainder in 8x8 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

FILLING: Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add rest of ingredients. Pour over mixture in pan. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over top. Bake for 25 minutes longer. Cool and cut.
