Bowl 1: 2 tbsp. lemon juice 1/2 tsp. salt 2 avocados, peeled, pitted and mashed 1/4 tsp. pepper Mix together lemon juice, salt, avocados and pepper (or buy a prepared guacamole dip). Bowl 2: 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix 1/2 c. mayonnaise Mix together sour cream, seasoning mix and mayonnaise. Bowl 3: 1 bunch green onions, chopped (use all of the onion) 2 cans ripe black olives, drained and sliced or diced (or buy them already sliced) 3 tomatoes, diced 2 cans bean dip (see notes following) 8 oz. or more sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded Tostitos, taco chips, corn chips or whatever Layer in serving dish as follows: Bean dip, avocado (guacamole) mixture, taco/sour cream mixture, tomato/olive/onion mixture and shredded cheese. Refrigerate until ready to serve. NOTES: 1. Can use 2 cans of refried beans, mixed with Louisiana hot sauce (or other hot sauce) to taste instead of the bean dip. It's cheaper and tastes just as good. Use a hand mixer so you get the hot sauce mixed in really good. 2. You can also add finely chopped lettuce to the tomato/black olive, etc. mixture. 3. Can mix the shredded cheese in with the tomato/black olive, etc. mixture and sprinkle on top. 4. You can also add cooked ground or shredded meat. 5. This can also be used as a meal. Put it in a taco/tortilla bowl. Be Creative! |
